Class of 2016 standout Jaylen Fisher committed to TCU on Wednesday afternoon.

Fisher is a 6-foot-2 point guard from Bolton High in Memphis. He's rated 64th in the Class of 2016, according to 247 Sports, and is in the top 40 of other recruiting rankings. Now that he's committed, Fisher becomes the highest-rated prospect to pledge to TCU since Blake Adams enrolled in 2003, according to 247 Sports' database.

Credit TCU assistant Ryan Miller with the get.

Miller previously worked at Memphis and has long recruited the area. He secured a commitment from Fisher in October while on Dave Rice's staff at UNLV. But when UNLV didn't hire Miller to replace Rice -- or, later, Chris Beard -- as the school's head coach, the odds of Fisher ever attending UNLV decreased significantly. Fisher publicly decommitted from UNLV last Thursday, then flew to TCU -- where Miller now works under Jamie Dixon.

Dixon hired Miller last month.

Fisher is the highest-rated 2016 recruit from Tennessee, according to 247 Sports. Indiana, Memphis, Arkansas, Baylor and LSU are among the other schools that recruited him.
