Texas State has fired Doug Davalos.
Davalos took over in 2006 and enjoyed some success, but the Bobcats were just 12-22 this season and 13-17 a year ago. Texas State failed to make the league tournament in 2012 and lost to New Mexico State in the semifinals this season.
Davalos has never finished over the .500 mark in his tenure. This past year was his first in the WAC.
