Let's take a moment to welcome Long Island, South Dakota State and Valparaiso to the NCAA tournament this year. Those three won their respective conference tournaments tonight.
LIU and SDSU are repeats from last year, while Valpo makes its first appearance since 2004. I'm hoping Ole Miss gets in and gets bracketed in a potential Round of 32 matchup with the Crusaders.
Since those three were already in the bracket, and there were no other games of note tonight, the bracket remains unchanged. That will certainly be the last time I type those words this season.
