Houston is at the center of the college football universe right now. It's coach, Tom Herman, has established a program that can knock off Florida State and Oklahoma and its star quarterback, Greg Ward Jr., has the kind of flair that will draw in casual fans from across the country.

After knocking off Oklahoma behind a big performance from Ward and stellar special teams play, Houston even made an appearance in the music world. Rapper Drake broke out a jersey for his show tonight, wearing Ward's No. 1.

Drake's normally associated with Kentucky, even representing the Wildcats when getting a tour of Texas' basketball facility. But while Drizzy was giving Houston some love, Kentucky's football team was giving away an early lead to Southern Miss in a devastating home loss to the Conference USA title contenders.

As for Drake's longtime relationship with Houston, it stems from the Canadian born rapper's adoration of the music and emotional connection to the culture. Houston has accepted Drake, and Drake loves Houston, including the surging football program, apparently.
