Alabama will be in the College Football Playoff for the second year in a row. It's possible that, if Alabama beats Michigan State in the Orange Bowl, it could go on to win its fourth national championship in seven seasons.
And if it does, the Crimson Tide will owe some credit to Arkansas coach Bret Bielema.
You see, had Bielema and the Razorbacks not beaten Ole Miss 53-52 this season, both Ole Miss and Alabama would have finished the season at 7-1 in SEC play, and with Ole Miss holding a head-to-head victory over Alabama, the Rebels would have played for the SEC Championship, not the Tide.
Had that happened, Alabama would not be in the playoff right now, and there's one bar in Tuscaloosa that wants to make sure Bielema knows Alabama fans appreciate his efforts.

Make sure you leave out cookies and beer for ol' Saint Bert on Christmas Eve, or he'll leave something in your stockings ... and I'm not talking about coal.
