Fordham University will take on Columbia in the Liberty Cup on Saturday, and the Rams will be wearing special American flag themed uniforms for the occasion.
The helmets are an extremely gritty American flag pattern, not some soft, shiny chrome get up like some teams. This is a blue-collar team with lots of grit so the flag needs to represent that.

As for the uniforms, it is pretty much the same as Fordham's normal uniform except with the stars and stripes on the shoulder pads and down the side of the pants.
It's almost as if they didn't buy enough flag material to go all out with entirely new uniforms, so they just took the regular ones and sewed the flag pattern on the shoulder area and the striping of the pants. The socks are a nice touch, though.
