Start packing your bags for Glendale, Ariz., and Tampa, Fla., college football fans. The College Football Playoff announced on Monday that those will be the sites for the title game in the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

The 2016 game will be played at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale -- where the Fiesta Bowl is played -- on Jan. 11 and the 2017 game at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on Jan. 9.

The inaugural College Football Playoff championship game will be played at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington in January of 2015.

Other finalists for the games had been Jacksonville, New Orleans and Tampa in 2016 and San Francisco, Jacksonville, Minneapolis, San Antonio and Miami in 2017.
