Kevin Sumlin suspended two of his assistants on Friday. USATSI

Not even a Friday evening news dump could save Texas A&M from an absolute embarrassment.

Coach Kevin Sumlin has announced late Friday that two assistants, offensive line coach Jim Turner and special teams/tight ends coach Jeff Banks, will be suspended for two weeks without pay, effective immediately, for an inappropriate presentation the pair made during an Aggie Football Chalk Talk -- an event specifically for female fans of the Aggies.

And by "inappropriate," I mean incredibly sexist.

Thanks to Anwar Richardson of Orangebloods.com, four pictures of these inappropriate slides made for a run-blocking presentation have surfaced, and the results are painful.

Additionally, it was decided that re-wording the Aggie War Hymn to include "filled with estrogen" was a sound idea.

Wrong. Way, way wrong.

"There is absolutely no place in our program or in our University community for inappropriate conduct or degrading comments towards women, or anyone, regardless of intent," Sumlin said in the statement, adding he was "unaware" of the contents of the presentation.

"We want to sincerely apologize to the passionate Aggie fans and to women everywhere for our failed attempt at humor during this week's Aggie Football Chalk Talk and fundraiser," another statement from Banks and Turner read. "We clearly understand now that our comments and slides were not appropriate or consistent with the values of our football program or our Department. We must do better, and we will."

Richardson notes for context that some of the women in attendance thought the presentation was funny while others didn't.

It doesn't matter. It doesn't take a perverted mind to know that's not even close to an accident. It's bad enough that these female-oriented football clinics oftentimes perpetuate antiquated, inaccurate and condescending views towards its female fanbase without joking about those fans being sex objects.

They're not objects, and they definitely don't need football man-splained to them, either.
