Something that happened in Friday night's Alamo Bowl between UCLA and Kansas State did not sit well with the Bruins' Jim Mora -- to the point that he brushed off legendary Wildcats coach Bill Snyder in the postgame handshake.
Via @KSUManhatter:
Mora would return after that exchange for a longer interaction in which he still appeared animated:
Mora was asked about the handshake (or handshakes) in the postgame press conference, but he did not acknowledge the apparent incident at that moment:

But with Twitter lighting up with criticism for his interaction with Snyder, Mora took to his own account to defend himself:
I will defend the safety of my players...forever.

And despite his earlier assertion that Snyder was a "great man, [a] tremendous man," Mora also retweeted the following tweet from Bruina receiver Jordan Payton that labels something Kansas State-related "classless" (via hashtag):
Thanks @UCLACoachMora for protecting the team! #Classless

Here's Brett Hundley's take on the situation:
Thank You @UCLACoachMora for Protecting Me & @UCLAFootball #Respect
— Brett A. Hundley Jr (@BrettHundley17) January 3, 2015
The exact reason for Mora's and Hundley's objection is unclear. Via SBNation, here's the game's final play, on which a Kansas State player leaps over the line in an apparent attempt to force Hundley to fumble:
