ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) Matt Williams drilled 5 3-pointers and finished with 20 points and Central Florida snapped a four-game losing streak with a 72-57 win over Memphis on Saturday.

Williams, who notched his 7th game with 20 or more points this season, also finished with seven rebounds. B.J. Taylor scored 16 points and Tacko Fall added 15 for the Knights (15-8, 6-5 American Conference), who notched just their second win all-time against Memphis.

Dedric Lawson scored a game-high 28 points for the Tigers (17-7, 7-4), who had a difficult afternoon offensively hitting just 30.2 percent of their shots.

UCF led by 17 at halftime and did not allow the Tigers to break back into single digits until the final two minutes. Two Lawson free throws made it 66-57, giving the Tigers a ray of hope with 1:43 left. But the Knights hit six straight at the foul line to put it away.
