According to the Palm Beach Post, Marlins’ outfielder Alfredo Silverio seems likely to begin he season on the disabled list. Silverio continues to recover from the effects of a car accident more than a year ago, and has come down with a sprained elbow in recent days. Silverio was long tossing when he suffered the injury, in the same elbow he had Tommy John surgery in. “He will be out for a while. He felt something long tossing so we shut him down,” manager Mike Redmond said.
