Dragic (illness) delivered 12 points (5-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine assists, eight rebounds, and two steals in 32 minutes during the Heat's 98-95 win over the Hornets on Friday. Dragic was expected to play through what was being reported as just a cold, and he played extremely efficiently--with nine assists and zero turnovers. In five games since returning from an eight-game absence due to a calf injury, Dragic is averaging 10.8 points, 6.8 assists to 1.6 turnovers, 3.8 rebounds, and 0.8 steals in 31 minutes per contest.
Dragic (illness) is still expected to play Friday against the Hornets, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. There isn't any new information here, but coach Erik Spoelstra reiterated that Dragic is expected to take the court despite battling an illness. Spoelstra said the same earlier in the day, though it's worth noting Dragic's condition does not appear to have worsened.
Dragic missed shootaround Friday with an illness, but is still expected to play in the Heat's game against the Hornets, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. The illness is reported as just a cold and it isn't expected to force Dragic to miss any time. Look for him to resume his role in the starting lineup come tip-off. In the last four games since returning from a calf injury, Dragic is averaging 10.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 6.3 assists over 30 minutes.
Dragic (calf) scored 12 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) while adding eight assists and a steal in 32 minutes during Friday's win over the Bucks. There was some concern that he'd be on a minutes restriction after missing eight games with a strained left calf, but Dragic was able to handle a full workload and record his highest assist total in over a month, so it seems safe to say he's 100 percent. He'll get a day to rest before the Heat host the Hawks on Sunday.
Dragic (calf) will will play Friday against the Bucks but he could have a minutes restriction. The team's official site tweeted that Dragic would be playing with a cap on his minutes for Friday's contest, but The Palm Beach Post suggests that the point guard won't have a formal minutes restriction against the Bucks. The conflicting reports make it difficult to parse out exactly how limited Dragic will be Friday, but given that he has not played since Jan. 11, it's more likely than not that he plays less than his season average of 32.5 minutes.
