The British Open, or The Open Championship, is golf's third major of the year. All eyes will be on Southport, England, where reigning champ Henrik Stenson opened at 25/1.

Before you make any British Open bets or enter a daily fantasy golf tournament on sites like FanDuel or DraftKings, you need to see what the guys at SportsLine have to say.

SportsLine's prediction model, which was built by DFS pro Mike McClure, nailed the Masters, calling Sergio Garcia's big win entering the weekend. It also called Brooks Koepka winning the U.S. Open entering the weekend.

With the tournament starting Thursday, SportsLine simulated the British Open 10,000 times, and the results were surprising.

One huge shocker it's calling: Dustin Johnson, the Vegas favorite at 10/1, doesn't even crack the top five.

SportsLine's simulations are high on Hideki Matsuyama and Tommy Fleetwood. Both finished in the top five in the U.S. Open and are going off at 20/1. Expect them to be among the top finishers at the British Open.

It's not high on Henrik Stenson, who won the Open Championship last year. SportsLine says Stenson lands out of the top 10.

The model also is calling for a huge long shot to make a run at his first major title, which could mean a big payoff.

So who wins the 2017 British Open? And what massive long shot stuns the golfing world? Check out the odds below and visit SportsLine now to see the full British Open leaderboard from the model that nailed the Masters and find out.
