John Daly shoots 90 at Valspar Championship
John Daly made a 12 on a hole and it only got worst from there at the Valspar Championship.
Here's how John Daly's day went at the Valspar Championship (keep in mind, he didn't shoot something in the 50s, 60s, or 70s):
Daly has a streak of 17 straight years on PGA Tour with at least one round in the 80s. So he still has a chance to end that. #glasshalffull— Doug Ferguson (@dougferguson405) March 14, 2014
That's right, Daly carded a 90 on Friday in Tampa that included a 12 on the par-4 16th hole. It's the highest score of his career. He joked about the 12 after his round.
"It was a good 12. I got up and down for 12."
Leave it to Daly to still give a great quote after dropping a 90 at a PGA Tour tournament.
Here's a look at his grotesque card:
And the ShotLink on his 12 if you can look at it:
Strange, you'd think someone who wears paint on his pants would be successful at a thing called the Valspar Championship.
