Here's how John Daly's day went at the Valspar Championship (keep in mind, he didn't shoot something in the 50s, 60s, or 70s):

That's right, Daly carded a 90 on Friday in Tampa that included a 12 on the par-4 16th hole. It's the highest score of his career. He joked about the 12 after his round. 

"It was a good 12. I got up and down for 12."

Leave it to Daly to still give a great quote after dropping a 90 at a PGA Tour tournament.

Strange, you'd think someone who wears paint on his pants would be successful at a thing called the Valspar Championship.
