Time released its 100 Most Influential people list for 2014 on Thursday and you know who the only golfer on the list was?

Not Tiger Woods.

Not Jordan Spieth.

Not Patrick Reed.

Not even Michelle Wie.

The only golfer on the list turned 17 on Thursday and turned pro at the end of 2013. She is Lydia Ko and she is awesome.

Here's what Annika Sorenstam (a woman who knows a thing or 10 about being awesome) wrote in Time.

"Lydia Ko is exceptionally talented, mature beyond her years and well liked by golf fans and competitors alike. She is responsible for sparking increased interest in our sport not just in her native South Korea and adopted homeland of New Zealand but also among juniors across the globe.

"Her early, record-breaking success brings with it incredible pressure — and she’s doing a fantastic job handling the many responsibilities that accompany stardom. Her future is very bright. All I can add is to enjoy the ride!"

Ko joins Jason Collins, Richard Sherman, Serena Williams, and Cristiano Ronaldo as the only athlets on this year's list. She's one of 10 people under 30 to make it.
