The Masters has arrived, and soon the field and patrons will be settling in to their temporary homes for the week around Augusta National Golf Club for one of the greatest weeks in all of sports.
Conditions in Augusta, Georgia are looking pleasant for the weekend, but early reports indicate that Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth and the rest of the star-studded field will have to battle some windy conditions in the first two rounds.
While rain showers could afftect the fan-favorite Par-3 Contest on Wednesday, the rain is expected to move out by the time the tournament gets into full swing on Thursday, leaving cloudy and windy conditions for the first two rounds of the tournament.
After that, the current forecast has cold starts and warm finishes on tap for the weekend, as the battle for the green jacket and rages in much more pleasant playing conditions.
