VIDEO: Tour Wives reality show preview is about what you'd expect
This show of professional golfers' wives does not look like something I want to watch.
What happens when you get a bunch of rich golfers' wives in a room (some of them jilted exes, no less) and turn the cameras on for a reality show?
About what you'd expect to happen.
This Tour Wives show that is being produced by the Back9Network features Bob Estes' wife (Liz, she pushed getting the show on the air), Chad Campbell's wife (Amy), Hank Haney's wife (Suzanne), and Rory Sabbatini's ex-wife (Amy).
Haney isn't really a tour wife given that Hank doesn't play and Sabbatini divorced his wife which is featured in the show (a divorce party!)
I see none of this ending well.
And Alex Myers of Golf Digest questions whether or not the show will ever get off the ground. I just don't see the upside here for any of the golfers (or their wives, for that matter). The trailer (seen above) doesn't exactly paint things in the greatest light.
Also, what's the long-term plan for Sabbatini? Ex-Tour Wives?
