The scoring average on No. 16 at the Wyndham Championship has taken a hit. Peter Malnati became the second player on Saturday to ace the 175-yard par 3. Malnati's shot was straightforward and barely trickled in. He inevitably lost his mind.

Earlier in the day, Shawn Stefani also aced the hole. His was a bit more meaningful. Malnati has essentially already locked up his PGA Tour card for 2016-17 as he is in the top 100 in the FedEx Cup rankings, but Stefani needed a good showing this week as he came in No. 133. The top 125 get their cards for 2016-17.

Stefani is currently still projected to barely miss the cut, but he still has 18 holes to play on Sunday. He's T27 with plenty of room to shoot a low score over his final 18 holes and lock up that card.
Stefani's 66 included ace on 16. Currently projected No. 126 in FedEx. "Obv there's stress & pressure out there. I try not to focus on it."
