Peter Malnati shot a 75 on Sunday at the RBC Heritage and finished T44 for the week. That is not what he'll remember about the week, though. That's because Malnati made a slick ace on the long 174-yard par-3 17th hole.
Malnati had a colorful scorecard on Sunday. His ace was accompanied by a triple bogey, five bogeys and two other birdies. It all added up to a 4-over 75 after good Round 2 and Round 3 scores.
Still, the T44 had to be an encouragement for Malnati who had missed five of his last six cuts coming into the week.
