Amanda McCarthy's sense of humor: Intact

Brandon McCarthy's frightening and serious injury hasn't dimmed his wife's spirit, it would seem.

It goes without saying that the last 48 hours or so have been both frightening and challenging for A's ace Brandon McCarthy and his wife, Amanda.

If you're on Twitter, then you've surely noticed the outpouring of support and well wishes for McCarthy and his wife's public gratitude for all of it. Thankfully, though, Mrs. McCarthy still has her edge.  

First, Brandon's teammate Jarrod Parker airs some heartfelt sentiments, and then Amanda comes back with the withering rejoinder ... 

@jarrodbparker I mean he hasn't died.. He will be back to make sure you don't screw up soon enough.

Here's hoping that Brandon McCarthy is indeed back soon enough.
