Indians' second baseman Jason Kipnis will miss his third straight game due to neck soreness, according to MLB.com’s Jordan Bastian.

Though Kipnis has missed three games, the injury is not believed to be serious. Indians manager Manny Acta considers Kipnis day-to-day. On Friday, Acta mentioned that Kipnis might be available off the bench. Unless the injury has gotten worse, the same should still be true Saturday.

In 475 plate appearances, Kipnis has hit .259/.335/.386 this season. Jason Donald will get the start at second base in Kipnis’ absence.
