On Monday night at Fenway Park, the Indians and Red Sox will play Game 3 of the ALDS. Cleveland of course holds a 2-0 in the series, which puts the Bostons a mere one loss from seeing their 2016 season end. By extension, another loss to the Tribe also means that Red Sox warrior-poet David Ortiz's career will be over. He is, of course, retiring at season's end.

All those things hanging in the balance brings us the following bit of around-the-cage banter courtesy of Cleveland second baseman Jason Kipnis ...

The business? It hath just been given.

The history of teams down 2-0 in a best-of-five series is indeed grim, so Kipnis is on reasonably sure footing with his quip. Jokes, as Ms. Watney said.

You're likely going to have one of two reactions to this urgent dispatch: One is that Kipnis just gave Big Papi some motivation, the other is that here the media is once again making a big deal out of nothing. In either case, you just farted.

It says here the Indians will sweep the Red Sox.
