Above is the first of three videos being released by Budweiser and Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith in support of a petition to the White House to make baseball's opening day a national holiday.

In order to help them get to 100,000 signatures, head on over to budweiser.com (you have to be 21, or at least enter a birthdate that says you've been around for at least 21 years). As of this writing, there are just over 1,600 signatures (I'm signature 1,615), but the campaign just launched.

I'm not sure this has a chance, but hey, we're talking about the possibility of people getting off work for opening day. Go sign the damn thing already.
