Jamie Moyer is 49 years old. If he makes the Rockies this year -- and coming off a four inning no-no it looks pretty good for him -- it will be the eighth franchise he's played for in 25 seasons.

Omar Vizquel will turn 45 in April. If he makes the Blue Jays, it will be his sixth franchise and 24th season.

With all that service time, the two players have played with an absurd amount of great players over the years. But whose "All-Star team" -- that is, a team consisting of former teammates -- is better? We'll concentrate on extended primes, not how good the players are now or were when Vizquel or Moyer played with them. Definitely feel free to tinker with the lineups, rotations, bullpens, benches, etc. -- there really is no right answer here.

(Chest-bump to my boy Dayn Perry for compiling this Vizquel roster).

Here are the Omar Vizquel All-Stars | Click here for the Jamie Moyer All-Stars

Lineup

1. Roberto Alomar, 2B
2. Ken Griffey Jr., CF
3. Barry Bonds, LF
4. Manny Ramirez, RF
5. Jim Thome, DH
6. Eddie Murray, 1B
7. Matt Williams, 3B
8. Ivan Rodriguez, C
9. Omar Vizquel, SS

Rotation

Randy Johnson, CC Sabathia, Cliff Lee, Orel Hershiser, Tim Lincecum

Bullpen

Armando Benitez (closer), Jose Mesa, Brian Wilson, Neftali Feliz, Dwight Gooden, Jack Morris, Mark Buehrle

Just as we said with Moyer, having the choice between studly starting pitchers and relievers like Doug Jones or Bobby Jenks in the bullpen isn't really a tough choice.

Bench

Victor Martinez, Paul Konerko, Jeff Kent, Andruw Jones, Dave Winfield

Yes, we're open to arguments putting Winfield in the lineup for Manny Ramirez, but Manny in his prime was one of the greatest right-handed hitters of all-time. Oh, and please don't get too focused on Andruw Jones now. Think about Jones circa 1998-2006. He belongs here.

Manager

Lou Piniella

Good-to-great players who missed the cut

Sandy Alomar Jr., Tony Fernandez, Michael Young, Albert Belle, Kenny Lofton, Brian Giles, David Justice, Juan Gonzalez, Dennis Martinez, Chuck Finley, Gregg Olsen, Doug Jones, Bobby Jenks, Edgar Martinez, Cecil Fielder, Harold Baines, Adam Dunn.

Not near the depth Moyer has, but there are still lots of good players we didn't have room for. And if Vizquel makes this year's Blue Jays, we can start thinking about where Jose Bautista and Francisco Cordero fit.
