Thursday night the Phillies made California high school outfielder Mickey Moniak the first overall pick in the 2016 First-Year Player Draft. He's the first prep outfielder to go first overall since Justin Upton in 2005.

During the MLB Network draft broadcast, Moniak revealed he and a childhood friend named Ethan Abrams made a rather embarrassing bet. The details: if Moniak was drafted in the top 10, Abrams had to get a tattoo of Moniak's name on his rear-end.

Moniak plans on holding him to the bet too. Here's the video:

Hey, a bet's a bet. Abrams will be visiting the tattoo shop at some point soon.

It's not all bad though. Moniak might have to return the favor. In the video he says if Abrams, a freshman at Columbia, gets drafted in the top 20 rounds, Moniak has to get Ethan's name tattooed on his behind.

Abrams had a 4.72 ERA in 34 1/3 innings for Columbia this year. He also hit .276 with three homers in 58 at-bats. Not bad at all for kid in his first year of Division I ball. Abrams will be draft-eligible in two years and soon he and Moniak may end up with matching tattoos on their rear-ends.
