The "David Eckstein is scrappy" narrative was shoved down the throats of fans everywhere for years and it's gotten to the point of being an Internet meme. And it would seem even the player himself has a great sense of humor about it. Check out the MLB Fan Cave video, where Eckstein gets everything out of his talent and invents a new derivative of "scrappy:"
