Joe Mikulik, manager of the Double-A Frisco RoughRiders (Rangers), is no stranger to being ejected and getting his money's worth from umpires. He's done it many times in the past.
Tuesday night, Mikulik was ejected for arguing an interference call at second base on an inning-ending double play. Mikulik responded by sliding into second himself (multiple times!) and punting the second base bag. Check it out:
Ah yes, that's the good stuff. I don't know anyone who doesn't love a good manager tirade, and Mikulik is a pro at it. His track record speaks for itself. Punting second base has set the bar really high. How will he top that?
