  • Dodgers' Alex Hassan: Placed on 7-day DL

    Hassan was placed on the minor league DL on Thursday, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.

    It's unclear when Hassan sustained the injury and the exact nature of the ailment, but he'll be sidelined for at least the next week as a result. The 28-year-old has struggled thus far in 2016, slashing just .227/.318/.267 in 56 games with Triple-A Oklahoma City.

  • Dodgers' Alex Hassan: Signs with Dodgers

    Hassan signed a minor league deal with the Dodgers on Wednesday, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports.

    Hassan spent time with three different organizations last season, working to a combined .288/.343/.380 line mostly at the Triple-A level. He'll provide outfield depth for the Dodgers but likely won't see much, if any, time in the majors.
