It sounds like Perez could be headed to Japan this season, as he was not in line to crack the Orioles' Opening Day roster. He can be ignored in most formats for the foreseeable future.

Orioles' Felix Perez: Signs with Orioles
Perez has signed a minor league contract with the Orioles, Rich Dubroff of CSN Midatlantic reports.
Perez, who came over from Cuba in 2010, spent five years in the Reds farm system before spending 2015 in the Mexican League, where he slugged 20 home runs in 94 games and posted a sharp .312/.390/.580 batting line. He'll start out at Triple-A most likely, but could serve as some powerful outfield or DH depth should the Orioles run into injury trouble.
