    Salcedo (suspension) has been released by the Dodgers, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.

    Salcedo was suspended 144 games after testing positive for performance enhancing drugs last March, his third such suspension. The 25-year-old has compiled a 3.31 ERA and 447 strikeouts over eight minor league seasons, but risks a lifetime ban for one more positive test. Salcedo, who last pitched in 2015, still has 94 games remaining on the suspension should another team give him a shot.

  • Dodgers' Adrian Salcedo: Suspended 144 games for PEDs

    Salcedo has been suspended for 144 games after testing positive for performance enhancing drugs, Eric Stephen of SB Nation reports.

    According to Stephen, Salcedo tested positive for a substance called Boldenone. The 144 games levied on this suspension are in addition to a 100-game suspension Salcedo was served in November of 2015, meaning that his 2016 campaign is effectively over. Salcedo, a 25-year-old right-hander, has now been suspended three times and will face a lifetime ban for one more positive test.

  • Dodgers' Adrian Salcedo: Signs minor league contract with Dodgers

    Salcedo signed a minor league contract Monday with the Dodgers, Brandon Warne of Cold Omaha 96.3 reports.

    Salcedo is currently serving a 100-game suspension that will keep him out until August of 2016. This is his second major suspension for PED use. Upon his return, he'll still only be either in the Double-A or Triple-A for the remainder of the 2016 season.
