New York: Where dreams are made of and there's nothing you can't do, including signing an NBA contract that carries you past your 41st birthday.

The Houston Rockets announced on Wednesday that they have agreed to a sign-and-trade that sends veteran center Marcus Camby to the New York Knicks in exchange for guard Toney Douglas, forward/center Josh Harrellson, center Jerome Jordan, second-round picks in 2014 and 2015 and cash.

As part of the agreement, the Knicks have signed Camby to a 3-year deal worth $13.2 million.

Camby, 38, averaged 4.9 points and 9.0 rebounds during the 2011-12 season, which saw him traded from the Portland Trail Blazers to the Rockets at the trade deadline.

The Knicks also announced the re-signing of free agent guard J.R. Smith on Wednesday.
