Chris Paul (bruised knee) out Tuesday against the Thunder

By Royce Young | NBA writer

Tuesday's marquee matchup between the West's two best teams just got a little less marquee.

Clippers' point guard Chris Paul has been ruled out against the Thunder because of a right knee bruise.

Paul injuried the knee Jan. 12 against the Magic when he banged knees with J.J. Redick. As a result, he missed three consecutive games before returning Jan. 19 against the Wizards.

In Monday night's game against the Warriors, Paul was just 1-for-7 from the floor in 33 minutes.

Eric Bledsoe will start in Paul's place.
