2017 NBA playoff schedule: Celtics-Cavaliers series scores, results, TV channels, streaming, online
The Cavs clobbered the Celtics by 44 in Game 2
Well it's pretty safe to say no one saw Sunday night's result coming.
After losing by 44 points in Game 2, and missing Isaiah Thomas, no one expected the Celtics to give the Cavaliers much of a fight in Game 3, especially as the series shifted back to Cleveland. And certainly not when the Cavs held a commanding 21-point lead in the third quarter, and looked to be cruising to a 3-0 series lead.
But thanks to a hot shooting night from Marcus Smart, who went 7-10 from downtown, some timely shots from Jonas Jerebko, and a clutch game-winning triple from Avery Bradley, the Celtics stole Game 3 at Quicken Loans Arena, handing the Cavs their first lost of the 2017 postseason.
Here's the schedule for the 2017 Eastern Conference finals. Games start at 8:30 p.m. ET on TNT:
- Game 1: Cavaliers 117, Celtics 103 (Box Score)
- Game 2: Cavaliers 130, Celtics 86 (Box Score)
