Hip hop star Drake and LeBron James go way back. James has long held an appreciation for the Toronto mogul's music, even appearing on stage with him in the past. The two had a beef during the Raptors-Cavaliers series this spring, but quickly squashed it. On Friday night, with Drake in Columbus for a tour date, James once again joined him on stage to perform "Pop Style."

Lyrics NSFW:

"Ohio, if you don't make some noise for the King right now, you're out of your mind," Drake said as he introduced the newly crowned NBA champion.

Drake doesn't play favorites, though. He's good buddies with Stephen Curry, often seen grabbing a bite with the two-time MVP. He's also been known to hang out with New York Knicks star Derrick Rose.

But James and Drake go way back, and it's cool to see James still in a place where he wants to do stuff like this. He doesn't feel too old for it. James has a little bit of a performer in him, which is why he's so involved in entertainment matters. Don't hold your breath for a solo album, though if he wanted to, I'm sure his buddy Drake would set him up with a studio and some guidance.
