Nikola Vucevic delivered 28 points (11-16 FG, 6-8 FT), 13 rebounds, six assists, and one block in 43 minutes during the Orlando Magic 's 117-110 overtime victory versus the Hawks on Monday.
Vucevic matched multiple season-high with 28 points and eight free-throw attempts, and he was just one assist and one rebound shy of tying those season-highs as well. Meanwhile, his 43 minutes were the most he played since seeing 45 minutes on Oct. 30 against the Thunder in a contest that went to double overtime. Vucevic and the Magic have been struggling to win games lately, but beating the Hawks twice in back-to-back days has to feel fairly good for a young club.
Nikola Vucevic tallied 22 points (11-19 FG), including the game-winning bucket at the final buzzer, in Sunday's 96-94 triumph over the Hawks. He also added nine boards, two assists, and two steals across 35 minutes.
Vucevic's 18-foot buzzer beater was eerily similar to the game winner he hit on Nov. 11 against the Lakers, which also came on a turnaround shot off an inbounds pass. Despite his heroics, Vucevic did miss out on a double-double for the third game in a row, but he'll get a quick opportunity for redemption, as the Orlando Magic and Hawks will get together for a rematch in Atlanta on Monday night.
Nikola Vucevic recorded a double-double with 20 points (9-20 FG, 2-2 FT) and 10 rebounds to go along with three assists, one steal and one block in 31 minutes of Monday's loss to the Spurs.
The 25-year-old's scoring numbers dipped from 19.4 in December to 15.2 in January, but he kicked off February with his first 20-10 game since the beginning of last month. Vucevic is also in the midst of his best stretch of rebounding this season, as he is averaging 11 boards per game over the last 11 and has nine double-doubles in that span. He has played well since Aaron Gordon moved into the starting lineup and is providing some of his best all-around production of the season at the moment.
Nikola Vucevic scored 15 points (6-17 FG, 3-3 FT) while adding 12 rebounds, six blocks, four assists and two steals in 39 minutes during Friday's overtime loss to the Hornets.
The blocks were a career high for Vucevic, and he extended his double-double streak to four games. He's had a slow start to the season on the glass, but Vucevic is now averaging 16.7 points, 10.7 boards, 3.2 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.3 steals over his last six games. If you need help in your frontcourt, he could be worth targeting in a trade in the hopes he can maintain his current pace.
Nikola Vucevic scored 15 points (7-15 FG, 1-2 FT) to go along with 11 rebounds and two steals over 37 minutes in Wednesday's 96-87 loss to the 76ers.
Big Vuce has now recorded a double-double in three straight games, though the Orlando Magic have now lost four in a row. His scoring numbers have taken a hit after a very hot December, but Vucevic is beginning to get back on track in terms of minutes and consistency on the glass.
