Entering Game 4 of the Western Conference finals on Sunday evening the St. Louis Blues had not scored a goal against goalie Martin Jones since halfway through the first game of series.
That finally changed early in the first period on Saturday.
Jones shutout streak lasted 156 consecutive minutes and 62 consecutive shots thanks to the combination of him playing extremely well and getting a little help from his goal posts, specifically when it came to Blues forward Troy Brouwer as he fired three shots off the post in Games 2 and 3.
Just six minutes into Game 4 on Saturday, Brouwer finally managed to get a shot behind Jones and get it into the net when he scored his sixth goal of the playoffs.

The Sharks challenged the play looking for an offside call on the Blues' entry into the zone, but replay reviews eventually showed, thanks in part to the cameras positioned directly above the blue line, that the play was onside and the goal would stand.
The goal wasn't the only significant play Brouwer was involved in on Sunday evening.
Just a few minutes before scoring he delivered a huge hit on Sharks forward Tomas Hertl that left the Sharks forward a little shaken up.

That probably could -- and perhaps should -- have been an interference call on Brouwer, but play was allowed to continue.
The Sharks ended up taking a penalty moments later to give the Blues the power play they ended up scoring on.
Just minutes after Brouwer's goal, Jori Lehtera added another goal for the Blues to give them an early 2-0 lead.
