  • Andrew Bodnarchuk: Signs with German club

Bodnarchuk agreed to terms on a deal with DEL side Red Bull Munich on Monday, Mark Divver of The Providence Journal reports.

Selected by the Bruins in the fifth round of the 2006 NHL Draft, Bodnarchuk has played in 42 NHL contests split between Boston, Columbus and Colorado. Last season, the blueliner notched 21 points in 73 outings with AHL Texas. Without an NHL deal in hand, the 29-year-old will make his first foray into European hockey.

  • Stars' Andrew Bodnarchuk: Assigned to AHL

The Stars assigned Bodnarchuk to the AHL on Tuesday.

Bodnarchuk played a career-high 37 NHL games last season. He started the year with Columbus and was claimed off waivers by Colorado midseason. The blueliner may have value to the Stars, but even if he works his way back into the NHL, his assets don't translate to fantasy points. In those 37 games, he took just nine shots, so he's unlikely to be fantasy relevant this season.

  • Stars' Andrew Bodnarchuk: Waived by team

Bodnarchuk was one of two players placed on waivers by the Stars on Monday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.

Bodnarchuk and fellow defenseman Dustin Stevenson will be reassigned to AHL Texas if they go unclaimed off the waiver wire. Bodnarchuk signed with the Stars over the summer for the next two years after spending parts of the 2015-16 season with Colorado and Columbus. The 28-year-old is still looking for his first NHL goal, which will likely only happen if the injuries start piling up on the Dallas blue line.

  • Avalanche's Andrew Bodnarchuk: will play for Avs on Wednesday

Bodnarchuk will be suiting up for the Avs as they face off against the Blues on Wednesday and will be skating in the top defensive pairing with Francois Beauchemin, Terry Frei of The Denver Post reports.

It comes as somewhat of a surprise that Bodnarchuk was selected as Eric Johnson's(lower body) replacement to skate in the top defensive pairing for Wednesday's game. Bodnarchuk was just claimed off waivers from the Blue Jackets on Tuesday and has only 21 games under his belt at the NHL level. Johnson is expected to be out for about 12 days so Bodnarchuk will most likely skate for only a handful games.

  • Avalanche's Andrew Bodnarchuk: Claimed by Colorado

Bodnarchuk was claimed off waivers by the Avalanche on Tuesday, Shawn Mitchell of The Columbus Dispatch reports.

Bodnarchuk failed to crack the lineup in the three games prior to being waived, a sign of the strength of the Columbus blue line. Conversely, the Avalanche were looking to bolster their defense with injuries to Erik Johnson (lower body) and Brad Stuart (back). In 16 games this season, the 27-year-old notched only two assists and went minus-6.
