Nelson will call it a career rather than continue playing in England, the Star reports.
Nelson -- who was taken by Boston in the sixth round of the 2006 NHL Draft -- spent parts of four seasons with the Bruins organization before eventually finding his way to the EIHL. The center put together a trio of consecutive 40-plus point campaigns for the Sheffield Steelers in his final three years.
