Nick Ross: Off to good start in Austria
Ross has tallied nine points (two goals, seven assists) in 10 games as a member of Innsbruck HC in Austria this season.
After a brief run in the AHL, the Edmonton native and 2007 first-round pick moved his game to Europe in 2012-13. While he's had some success in Austria this season, it's unlikely he will return to the NHL anytime soon.

Coyotes' Nick Ross: Dealing with lower body injury
Ross is dealing with a lower body injury, Sarah McLellan of azcentral reports.
It's unclear when Ross sustained the ailment but Coyotes head coach Dave Tippett is reportedly saying that the 27-year-old will likely not play in the team's preseason games this weekend. Tippett thinks that the defenseman should start skating soon but it could be some time before he ramps up his activity to full capacity. His status for Opening Night remains unclear.
