Campbell was waived by the Blackhawks on Friday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
Campbell has spent 33 games in the NHL, albeit with three different teams (Los Angeles, Arizona and Toronto). He hasn't played at hockey's highest level since the 2015-16 campaign.

Blackhawks' Andrew Campbell: Headed to Windy City
Campbell, Marcus Kruger, MacKenzie Entwistle, Jordan Maletta and a 2019 fifth-round selection were dealt to the Blackhawks from the Coyotes on Thursday in exchange for Vinnie Hinostroza, Jordan Oesterle and a 2019 third-round pick.
Campbell spent the majority of his 2017-18 season with AHL Tucson, and he didn't appear in an NHL game despite several callups throughout the campaign. The veteran blueliner owns just two points -- both assists -- to his name in 42 career NHL games, making it unlikely Campbell will gain fantasy relevance at any point before he calls it quits.

Coyotes' Andrew Campbell: Bumped down to minors
Campbell was sent down Sunday to AHL Tucson, per the official AHL transaction log.
Despite being called up several times to Arizona, Campbell still hasn't appeared in an NHL contest this year. The 30-year-old has only notched six points (two goals, four assists) for AHL Tucson in 2017-18 as well, and will likely stay in the minors while the season wraps up unless injuries arise.

The 30-year-old blueliner last played during the 2015-16 season, appearing in just six games for the Maple Leafs. There's no guarantee that Campbell will get a chance to enter the lineup, so he probably shouldn't be owned in fantasy leagues.

Campbell didn't actually make it out on the ice during this stint with the Coyotes despite spending a week with the team. He'll be replaced on the roster by Kyle Capobianco, who will also likely be used as added defensive depth.

Campbell was waived by the Coyotes on Tuesday, James Mirtle of The Athletic Toronto reports.
The 'Yotes have completely retooled their right defense, using free agency and trades to stuff the roster with experienced skaters. Jason Demers, Niklas Hjalmarsson and Luke Schenn are now in the desert, rendering Campbell expendable. Given that he's a 29-year-old with only 42 NHL games (with the Avalanche) under his belt, we can confidently say that he shouldn't be rostered in any fantasy league.

Campbell secured a one-year, two-way deal with Arizona on Saturday.
With a plethora of young talent in Toronto, Campbell was never able to crack the Leafs' lineup last season -- instead spending the year down with AHL Toronto. While in the minors, the towering blueliner notched six goals and 16 assists along with an impressive plus-20 rating. The 29-year-old should have a better chance of securing regular minutes in the desert, where the team is once again rebuilding -- as it seems to be every year.

Maple Leafs' Andrew Campbell: Suffers upper-body injury Saturday
Campbell sustained an upper-body injury in Saturday's game against the Devils and will not return, Paul Hendrick of Leafs TV reports.
Campbell left after just 2:01 of ice time, but not before notching a secondary assist on a P.A. Parenteau goal -- his first and only point with the parent club this campaign. Hopefully the injury ends up being a non-issue, as Campbell is one of many prospects that earned valuable time in the NHL to expedite his professional development. This season, the 6-foot-4, 206-pound defenseman has collected 23 points in 65 games with the Marlies, the first team to have clinched a spot in the AHL playoffs.

Campbell was recalled from AHL Toronto on Thursday.
Campbell has yet to make his season debut but has proven to be a sound shutdown man with the Marlies, having recorded a plus-39 rating in 65 games. The Leafs are looking at as many players from their minor-league system as possible, hence moving eight players around the organizational ranks Thursday.
