    What a nice way to start the New Year for Strachan, who has appeared in 31 games with AHL Iowa this season. He's known as a physical blueliner, but that hasn't translated to much offense in his professional career. Strachan has just 20 points in 184 NHL games between the Blues, Panthers, Capitals and Sabres. He has yet to make his debut with the Wild.
