  • Blues' Jordan Caron: Re-signs with St. Louis

Caron agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way deal with the Blues on Wednesday.

Caron was on the ice for just four NHL games last season and went minus-3 while recording six hits in those contests. With AHL Chicago, the 25-year-old was significantly more productive as he tallied 36 points and 115 PIM in 70 outings. Fantasy owners probably shouldn't expect the winger to break into the NHL full time for 2016-17, but he could start making more relief appearances next year if injuries start to pile up for St. Louis.

  • Blues' Jordan Caron: Sent to minors Friday

Caron has been returned to AHL Chicago, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.

Even when Caron was with the parent club he averaged just 8:08 of ice time in four games. It's believed that the Blues have demoted Caron to make room for Patrik Berglund, who is looking to return from a shoulder injury and could soon be activated from injured reserve.

  • Blues' Jordan Caron: Recalled from minors

Caron has been recalled from the minors, according to the official site of the AHL.

The Blues have been hurting at the forward position for much of the season, but Caron adds a healthy body with St. Louis going back to work Saturday night, hosting the high-flying Stars. Generally, players shuttling between the organizational ranks don't hold much weight in fantasy leagues and Caron is no exception, though he does look big on the ice at 6-foot-3, 204 pounds.

Caron was returned to AHL Chicago on Wednesday.

Caron got 9:22 of ice time in his only NHL game this season, recording two hits and no shots on goal. For AHL Chicago, he has nine goals and 14 points in 25 games with 30 penalty minutes. The 25-year-old former first round pick in 2009 has struggled to gain real traction in the NHL throughout his career, but is turning into the heavier hitter he needs to be in order to get run at the highest level.

  • Blues' Jordan Caron: Recalled from AHL Chicago

Caron was recalled from AHL Chicago on Sunday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.

Caron has yet to play in a game with the Blues so far this season, so don't expect any significant production moving forward despite being called up to the Blues. It wouldn't be surprising to see him reassigned in the near future.

  • Caron Signs Two-Way Deal With Blues

Caron signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Blues on Thursday.Caron saw time with the Bruins and Avalanche last season, but failed to register a single point in 30 games. The Blues boast an overwhelming stable of talent at forward, so it seems unlikely that he'll be able to claim a roster spot with the team out of training camp. Look for him to head to AHL Chicago to open the 2015-16 campaign.
