Kelly was recalled from AHL San Jose on Saturday.
Kelly has spent the last six seasons with AHL Albany but will now get an opportunity to make his NHL debut. The defensive-minded defenseman will look to bring the skill set that allowed him to contribute 10-plus assists each of the past three seasons to the Sharks rearguard core.

Sharks' Dan Kelly: Moves to AHL
The Sharks sent Kelly to AHL San Jose on Tuesday.
A career AHLer, Kelly has spent the last six seasons with the Albany Devils of the AHL. The Sharks brought the 27-year-old defender into the franchise for organizational depth. He is not likely to be relevant in fantasy this season.
