Sislo signed a one-year contract with the Wolfsburg Grizzlys of the DEL on Wednesday.
Sislo spent the entirety of the 2018-19 campaign with AHL Bridgeport, notching 15 points in 39 contests. The 31-year-old American has likely played his last game of professional hockey in North America. If that ends up being the case, he'll finish his NHL career having tallied five points in 42 appearances spread over three seasons.

Sislo signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Islanders on Monday.
In the 2015-16 season, Sislo picked up three goals and an assist in 18 games with the Devils. That's the last time he saw any action in the NHL. That's unlikely to change with this move. He's a career minor leaguer at this point.

Sabres' Mike Sislo: Dealt to Buffalo
The Coyotes traded Sislo and Brandon Hickey to the Sabres in exchange for Hudson Fasching on Thursday.
Sislo hasn't appeared in an NHL contest since 2015-16, so he's nothing more than an organizational depth player at this stage in his career. The 30-year-old forward will almost certainly spend the entirety of the 2018-19 campaign with Buffalo's AHL affiliate.

Coyotes' Mike Sislo: Heading to desert
Sislo inked a one-year, two-way deal with the Coyotes on Saturday.
Sislo split time last year between a pair of minor-league teams -- Toronto and San Antonio -- in which he logged 72 contests and registered 14 goals and 23 helpers. The Superior, Wisconsin native was undrafted coming out of college and then spent six seasons within the Devils organization -- making 42 NHL appearances. With the Coyotes front office in flux, it's possible the winger will get a shot to make the 23-man roster coming out of training camp, but AHL Tucson seems a more likely destination.

Maple Leafs' Mike Sislo: Traded to Marlies
Sislo was acquired by AHL Toronto on loan from AHL San Antonio on Wednesday, Dhiren Mahiban of The Candian Press reports.
Sislo was waived by the Avalanche in October, and he's been with AHL San Antonio since. They've now decided to move him in exchange for Colin Smith, but the winger doesn't figure to make an impression at the top level this season or gain fantasy relevance anytime soon. Sislo's best NHL campaign came last season with the Devils, when he notched four points in 18 games.

Avalanche's Mike Sislo: Waived Monday
Sislo was placed on waivers Monday in order to reassign him to the minors, Terry Frei of the Denver Posts reports.
Sislo came up just shy of averaging a point per game last season in the minors, 53 points in 57 contests, and will return to the minors if he is unclaimed off the waiver wire. The Wisconsin native spent his entire career with the Devils organization before signing with the Avalanche over the summer. The winger has not shown enough yet to be considered for a spot on fantasy rosters except perhaps in the deepest of dynasty leagues.

Sislo was returned to AHL Albany on Friday, Rich Chere of the Star-Ledger reports.
It was believed that Sislo, who cleared waivers Thursday, would remain with the parent club ahead of Saturday's regular-season finale against the Maple Leafs, but evidently that won't be the case. The Baby Devils have games through April 16, thus allowing Sislo to continue getting work.

Sislo has cleared waivers, but will remain with New Jersey in case he is needed Thursday or Saturday, Rich Chere of The Star-Ledger reports.
According to coach John Hynes, Sislo's placement on waivers was a technical move that will allow him to be reassigned in the future, but the winger will stay with the Devils. The 28-year-old's netted three goals in his last 10 games, but hasn't shown up much on the stat sheet otherwise. Although he's still in the NHL for now, it remains unclear whether Sislo will suit up for the Devils' last two matchups.

With the trade deadline in the rearview mirror, NHL teams are only allowed four standard recalls apiece through the end of the regular season, however, Sislo is an exception since his promotion is considered an emergency call-up. Sislo has been viewed as little more than a depth option, but it's rather interesting to see him get sent to the AHL with four Devils forwards dealing with injuries. This leads us to believe that the club sent Sislo to the minors so he can get more consistent playing time and continue to develop. At any rate, the Devils have recalled Jim O'Brien and Paul Thompson to add depth to the forward spots.
