It turns out that Oduya -- who was claimed off waivers from Ottawa at the trade deadline -- truly was a rental player as the Flyers needed extra depth for the playoffs, though he didn't see any game action despite having two Stanley Cup championships with the Blackhawks on his resume (2013, 2015). Pittsburgh took care of the intrastate rival in the conference quarterfinals in six games. The 36-year-old has recorded 190 points (41 goals, 149 assists) over 850 career games between six NHL clubs.

You can't necessarily say the Flyers have missed Oduya, considering that he's only played in one game since being traded from the Senators. He's missed his last 13 games with injury. Though the 36-year-old is healthy, that doesn't mean he will necessarily play. Given his long layoff, and Philly's fight for a playoff spot, Oduya may find himself outside the lineup looking in.

Despite playing in 51 of 59 games this season, Oduya has only posted eight points (four goals, four assists) in 51 games, and will hit the waiver wire.
