What to Know
The St Andrews Knights are on the road again Sunday and play against the UNC-Asheville Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. ET Nov. 28 at Kimmel Arena. Neither St Andrews nor UNC-Asheville could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
The contest between the Knights and the South Carolina State Bulldogs two weeks ago was not a total blowout, but with St Andrews falling 67-53 on the road, it was darn close to turning into one.
As for UNC-Asheville, it looks like they got the smaller half of the wishbone at Thanksgiving dinner. They took a 72-53 bruising from the North Carolina Tar Heels last Tuesday. One thing holding UNC-Asheville back was the mediocre play of LJ Thorpe, who did not have his best game: he played for 29 minutes but put up just seven points on 1-for-10 shooting.
St Andrews took a serious blow against UNC-Asheville when the teams previously met two seasons ago, falling 105-69. Can St Andrews avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll soon find out.
