DURHAM, N.C. (AP) Del'Vin Dickerson had 23 points and Patrick Cole added 18 while dishing out a career-best 13 assists to lead North Carolina Central to a dominating 79-56 win over LIU Brooklyn on Tuesday night.

Dickerson was 11 of 17 from the floor. Cole made 6 of 11 and Dajuan Graf added 14 points as North Carolina Central (6-3) ran away from the Blackbirds early. The Eagles led 20-8 at the midway point of the first half and held a 39-24 advantage at the break. LIU Brooklyn never threatened in the second period. North Carolina Central has won six of its last seven games.

The Eagles were 32 of 57 from the floor while limiting LIU Brooklyn to 17-of-51 shooting. The Blackbirds made just 1 of 13 attempts from long range while NCCU made 6 of 17.

Iverson Fleming led LIU Brooklyn (6-3) with 16 points. Jashaun Agosto added 11.
