CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) Tre' McLean scored a career-high 35 points and Chattanooga erased an eight-point halftime deficit to beat former Southern Conference rival Marshall, 96-85 on Tuesday night.

Jon Elmore hit a 3-pointer with 45 seconds left in the first half to give the Thundering Herd a 41-33 lead.

Marshall led by seven, 57-50 on a 3-pointer by Austin Loop with 13:21 remaining.

McLean hit a pair of 3-pointers to bookend a Makinde London layup, and added a pair of free throws to put Chattanooga up, 60-59. McLean scored 18 second-half points to fuel the comeback.

The Mocs (7-2) have won four straight and are undefeated at home.

McLean was 11 of 17 from the field and 10 of 13 from the line. Justin Tuoyo and Greg Pryor had 16 and 15 points, respectively, for Chattanooga.

Elmore finished with 27 points to lead Marshall (5-3), which has yet to win a road game.
