LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) Marcus Johnson Jr. made a career-high nine 3-pointers and scored 29 points to lead Arkansas-Little Rock over Central Arkansas 70-59 on Saturday.

Johnson was 9 of 11 from 3-point range. Kemy Osse scored 12 points and Lis Shoshi added 10 points and 14 rebounds for UALR (8-2), which has won five straight since its one-point loss against Pepperdine on Nov. 22.

The Trojans made 56 percent of its 3-pointers (15 of 27).

Jordan Howard made four 3-pointers and scored 21 points to lead Central Arkansas (1-7). Derreck Brooks had 14 points and Mathieu Kamba finished with 11.

Brooks made a jump shot to give the Bears their last lead, 47-46, with about 13 minutes left. The Trojans used an 18-10 spurt and lead 64-57 with 3:21 to go. Johnson made two 3-pointers during the stretch and the Bears didn't get closer.
