NORFOLK, Va. (AP) Jonathan Wade scored 25 and Kyle Williams added a career-high 23 and they sparked a 12-1 closing run in overtime to help Norfolk State snap an eight-game losing streak with an 87-80 win over Eastern Kentucky on Monday night.

Asante Gist's 3-pointer with 1:17 to play and assist on DeAndre Dishman's fast-break dunk with 44 seconds left in regulation allowed Eastern Kentucky to tie the game at 72 to force overtime. The Colonels were up four when Williams hit a deep 3 and after a turnover Wade converted a 4-point play to put the Spartans up 82-79 with 1:23 in OT.

After an EKU free throw, Williams hit his fifth 3 and the Colonels missed twice before Jordan Butler closed it with two free throws.

The Spartans (3-9) went 35 of 45 from the foul line, with Butler going 9 of 10 to score 11 points.

Gist scored 23 points and Isaac McGlone added 21 with five 3s for EKU (6-7), which lost its third straight.
